A Drive-in Wedding To Remember

Covid-19 has thrown a wrench into many a wedding plan, and Maegan and Chad are no stranger to the epic roller coaster ride the past year has been.

I was officially booked in 2018 for their May 2020 wedding and as you know the pandemic hit hard and continues to especially in Ontario as we near the end of our third lockdown.

After rescheduling countless times these two got creative. They just wanted to be married to finally say, husband and wife. Working within the provincial regulations they decided to host a drive-in-style wedding at the bride’s family farm. A farm that has llamas and ponies to my absolute delight!

They got an FM radio transistor and had all their guests tune in via their radios. A wonderfully unique way to maintain social distance. When the couple was announced as husband and wife the chorus of honking horns was so loud and jubilant I had goosebumps and tears in my eyes!
