August House Style Shoot Part 2 in Windsor Nova Scotia
The August House is a gorgeous intimate wedding venue in the heart of Windsor Nova Scotia and a to simply put a photographer’s dream! This second part of the styled shoot was coordinated by makeup artist Manisha D Artistry and Claudia of Simply Weddings was a lux fall them.
The front entryway of the venue in all of its splendor complimented the gorgeous bride and gown from Karma Bridal in Dartmouth. The stylish design of The August House as a whole is mind-blowing. A perfect venue for a Nova Scotia elopement, intimate wedding, or event.
The autumnal colours accentuated the groom’s suit also from Karma Bridal the boutonniere created by Blossom Shop Nova Scotia. A gorgeous green-tone suit with a paisley tie creates a very striking look. Even the woodpile was an artful backdrop.
The moody fall colour pallet that our MUA Manisha did was a dream to capture. Our bride’s lovely hairstyle was done by Hair by Harpreet.
The common space is perfect for an elegant intimate ceremony. The luxury faux florals provided by One Day Affair adorned the victorian fireplace. The stylish chairs were provided by MacFarland Events. The bride’s bouquet and the groom’s boutonniere were artfully crafted by Blossom Shops Nova Scotia.
I was in awe of the detail of the gown from Karma Bridal and again that colour of the suit was lux.
Photographing through a pot of purple mums created this lush lavender glow complimenting the purple neighbouring building. Being inspired by my surroundings help me to create truly unique wedding photographs to capture your day.
The designer cupcakes are from Miss Vicky's Cakes and were just as tasty as they were beautiful!

The window of the front door of The August House inspired me to create a double exposure photo of our bride and groom. I love incorporating different photo techniques offering an artistic approach in addition to a candid journalistic style for couples. I am so grateful to have been selected to capture two style shoots for this venue and these incredible Nova Scotian wedding vendors.
